The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP) is a leading higher education institution in Portugal, dedicated to advanced training, research, and community service in the fields of Psychology and Education Sciences. With a history spanning 45 years, FPCEUP stands out for its innovative approach and commitment to academic excellence.

FPCEUP's educational offer covers three cycles of study:

• Bachelor's Degrees: Provide a solid foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge.
• Master's Degrees: Allow for in-depth skill development and specialization in various aspects of their fields.
• Doctoral Programmes: Focused on the production of original research and the training of high-level researchers.

The Faculty is also dedicated to lifelong learning, offering a range of courses for professional updating and development, and supports the employability of its students through talent and career programmes.

In the field of research, FPCEUP is a dynamic hub, boasting several Research Centres and specialized Laboratories, such as the Center for Psychology at the University of Porto (CPUP) and the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE), and various laboratories focused on Neurocognition, Human Sexuality, Neuropsychophysiology, Experimental and Social Psychology, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation. These centers and laboratories significantly contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, with nationally and internationally funded R&D projects, and a vast output of scientific publications.

FPCEUP has a strong commitment to the community, providing consultancy services and psychological intervention, promoting cultural activities, and making its library available. Furthermore, internationalization is a priority, with mobility programmes for students, professors, and technical staff, and participation in initiatives such as EUGLOH, fostering global cooperation and knowledge exchange.

The concern for the well-being of its students is evident, offering mentoring programmes, social support, health and well-being services, and an active inclusion and diversity policy, including a gender equality plan and guides for inclusive language.
